Working with Tracey changed my life. I was an overweight desk-bound 40 something in constant pain from a chronic back injury, harassed, lethargic and with a red wine and cheese habit that needed attention. Attempts at getting fit and well went wrong so many times and I was disheartened with it all. Then I began working with Tracey, who understood motivation and believes everyone can succeed and be the best they can. Now I’m 30lbs lighter, fitter with bags of energy. I have a new job and a new hobby and long term fitness and wellbeing makes the future looks great.

After a number of years carrying a sporting knee injury with several attempts at having it rectified and failed, finding Tracey Gjertsen came at just the right time before things became worse. With a combination of physio, sports massage, rehabilitation exercises and great skill and support I now have a knee that not only works better but feels better too…. Just Great!

Tracey is real motivator and an expert in her field. She has really helped to identify specific areas that I needed to work on and tone. The programmes are  tailored to meet your individual requirements, but amended depending on your ability on the day. I’ve always enjoyed my sessions with Tracey, they are challenging but always good fun and I leave feeling so much better than when I arrived!

I have known Tracey for 9 years now, her combination of massage therapy. pilates, personal trainer, and physio is pretty unique. She has helped me through two major surgeries which I will never forget her for. She is is very motivated works very hard and inspires this to her clients making you believe you can achieve your goal no matter how difficult she never gives up. If you cant do something she will find an alternative. She is always in good form and a pleasure to work with. Forever Grateful.

Fantastic pilates teacher who has been teaching me for years, Physio trained who corrects you when needed. Would highly recommend.

I have known Tracey for over 10 years both as a Personal Trainer and latterly through her excellent Pilates sessions. When she moved to set up her own business I had no hesitation in following her, it is her deep knowledge of both Pilates and the human body which helps all her clients keep moving further and faster.

As a Level 3 Personal Trainer myself, I can honestly say that Tracey is the best Pilates instructor around and we are lucky to have her!  Not only is she witty but highly trained with a keen eye for observation and correction of exercise.  A stickler for sound technique and quality of movement where effective muscular innervation ensures one works at a level appropriate for their needs – without compensatory movements to cheat!

Tracey is very professional, expert and caring in all aspects of her work. She strikes the optimum balance between providing challenge, and being respectful and responsive to the individual nature of each client or student.

Having just had some bits of my backbone lopped off to sort out spinal stenosis which had been giving all sorts of problems from muscular weakness to numbness from the waist down, I was recuperating and getting mighty impatient to be up and doing and foul tempered with all and sundry into the bargain. Heather, my wife, was getting tired of my whingeing and called in the cavalry in the delightful shape of Tracey.  She took one look at me and said “ Get up you lazy bastard and get stuck into some exercises “  … Well she may not have said those exact words but that was their meaning.  Motivation..  motivation ..  Tracey researched what was needed and came back with papers by eminent authorities and a proper plan to get me up and doing. From finding it difficult and acutely embarrassing to walk 100 yards two years ago, this summer I hiked in the Rockies, canoed on the Great lakes, rode  my horse round cross country courses (falling off a couple of times!), mountain biked with my kids on my birthday, sailed my ketch to Ireland and back etc. etc.  … life is an adventure and because of Tracey I am now able to be on the attack again. I can’t thank her enough!

Tracey has been helping me with my personal training regime for nearly 10 years and latterly she has really made huge improvements to my mobility issues and core strength with Pilates and physiotherapy. She can impart her wealth of health & fitness knowledge, is thoughtful and a pleasure to work with and chat to. Tracey knows just how and when to encourage and when to push, though never too much….. Highest recommendation from me!

Through Pilates, Tracey has helped me to improve my strength and flexibility. She is an exceptional professional who takes time to understand my injury issues and provides me with the information to manage them effectively. Tracey has a great sense of humour  which makes the class fly by and I couldn’t trust my body with anyone else!!!

15 years of Pilate’s tuition and the occasional physio session with a very passionate and dedicated tutor speaks for itself

Simply the best you could wish for.

Tracey’s  Pilates sessions are enjoyable, challenging and varied. They do me the world of good. I know that she is a well qualified, sensitive and totally professional teacher and feel that I am in safe hands.

Over the years I’ve abused my body unmercifully with 2 serious spinal injuries, a broken and dislocated shoulder and numerous injuries to my hips and knees, yet now I have good posture and regained full movement in all my joints. Not bad for someone in their 80s.

All of this is all down to Tracey’s hard work; I have regularly attended her Pilates classes for the last 12 + years  and hope to continue for many more.
